About this material

Many trading mistakes happen because the exit is decided in the heat of the moment. This sheet asks you to plan both ends of a trade before you begin. For each idea, you record the asset, the reason for the trade, the price at which you plan to enter and the level at which you will accept that the idea was wrong. You then set one or more targets, calculate the position size that keeps any loss within your chosen limit and write down what news or price action would make you leave early. After the trade, a review box helps you compare what happened with what you planned. Filling in the sheet takes only a few minutes, yet it builds the habit of thinking ahead. It is for education only and is not investment advice.

230 credits

What this level includes
  • Covered in this level

You will learn what an entry reason, entry price, stop-loss level, profit target and position size are, and how to complete each field on the sheet before you open a trade, even for small practice amounts.

Intermediate

430 credits

What this level includes
  • Covered in this level

It covers placing stops beyond logical support or resistance, setting more than one profit target, calculating the reward-to-risk ratio, defining conditions for leaving a trade early and checking the plan against your overall risk limits.

  • What you will be able to apply

You will be able to write clear, rule-based plans with sensible stops and targets, judge whether a trade offers a reasonable balance of reward and risk and decide in advance what would make you exit early.

Level 3

Advanced

730 credits

What this level includes

You will explore planning staged entries and exits, trailing stops, adjusting plans only under predefined rules, handling gaps and slippage, and deciding what to do when news or sudden volatility changes the picture after entry.

  • Suited to

This level is for learners facing more demanding situations, such as volatile markets, scaling into positions or managing a trade that moves quickly against the plan. It shows how to keep planning disciplined when conditions become difficult.

  • What you will be able to apply

This level prepares you to plan and manage more complex trades without abandoning your rules under pressure. You will know how to adapt in a controlled way and document every change for later review.

Level 4

Expert

1,030 credits

What this level includes
  • Covered in this level
